You have it installed on localhost? Then you dont need to upload anything, simply place the mp3's you want in your mp3 folder you point to in your settings then go to add a track (without uploading) and point to the tracks location. If you have this installed on the net somewhere then you can use an FTP client to connect to your site and upload that way. Check the documentation. |

What version of the componet are you using. I updated it this weekend to 1.5.2. Back up your tables using the tools section and try a re-install. Also make sure your preview and mp3 download paths are correct as stated in the F.A.Q |

There is an issue with spaces in file names. If you try and manually put in an MP3 File Path (/path/File Name.mp3) it will break. Instead after you select the file from the top put in your path in the "Add Sub Folder" area, then hit upload. The system will automatically fill in the MP3 File path with the correct information. A note should be made that the system doesn't actually make use of the "Add Sub Folder" form field when moving the file after upload. Manually moving the files to the correct folder is required. This is a possible bug as I am not sure what the intention is here. I would assume that it was supposed to do the move for you. |

I have updated the component to 1.3.3. I went through the upload feature and fixed some bugs. if your file has spaces it will rename it and make the spaces underscores. The sub folder feature also should work as well |

I am leaving this issues open because in the future I am thinking about revamping the add new tracks area to use http://www.uploadify.com/demo/. [^] I feel it will help the workflow of adding tracks. |
